Austin Florence Alliance

Catalyst and convener, the Austin Florence Alliance is forging a partnership between two of the world’s most visionary cities. The birthplace of so many of humankind’s great advances, Florence and Austin share a courageous, creative, and optimistic spirit. The Alliance was founded to cultivate and focus that shared spirit, crosspollinating across art and design, culture, business, education, and technology. As the official committee for the Austin-Florence Sister City relationship, we are working collaboratively with the leaders of both cities to launch this historic partnership and ignite new ventures and opportunities, especially for young people.

Austin Sister Cities International (ASCI)

A primary function of the Austin Florence Alliance is to serve as the Austin-Florence Committee for the Austin Sister Cities International (ASCI) Organization. Our teams in both Austin and Florence make-up the official “ASCI Austin-Florence Committee” and hold meetings to guide progress and development between the two cities and their industries.
